Beautiful Amelie

I recently had the pleasure of taking some ‘welcome to the world’ photographs of this sweet little girl, only two weeks new. This session was extra special for me as we photographed her parents not too long ago at their wedding (which stands out as one of our favourite weddings ever!). And now there are three…I hope you love this little peek…more to come soon in your gallery. (Sorry again about the hippo!)  Fran xx

January project – 31/01 {family photographer melbourne}

Day 31 of a personal photography challenge to take at least one photo every day throughout January of my kids and whatever else catches my eye.

YAY. We have finished. Reached the summit of an immense mountain of image files, the Mount Everest of digital photographs, collecting on my hard drives over January, and now (hopefully…eventually) to be bound together in a press-printed album as a permanent record of 31 days of our summer.

Today, for the last day of the challenge, I took the boys to their school for some quick photos. School starts later this week, so only a few more days of the holidays left. This is Tim’s first year of school (my baby’s a big boy now) and Alex goes into Grade 2. For the first time I shall have regular working hours, yay! I shall be able to get a lot more computer work done during the day rather than at night when the kids are in bed. This will be a really good thing. I might even be able to do normal things in the evenings, like watch tv with my hubby, or go to bed early and read a book…or what else? What else do people do of an evening?? I’ve worked every night from 8-12am for a few years now so I’ve forgotten what other people do. LOL.

January project – 30/01 {melbourne photographer}

Day 30 of a personal photography challenge to take at least one photo every day throughout January of my kids and whatever else catches my eye.

I love how kids can sit like this, with their knees bent but legs still flat on the floor. Tim has always sat like this. So cute.

Today was too hot to do anything really, so we stayed inside in front of our rather elderly air-conditioning unit trying to keep cool. I don’t believe I stepped outside even once today, lol!
