January project – 20/01 {family portraits melbourne}

Day 20 of a personal photography challenge to take at least one photo every day throughout January of my kids and whatever else catches my eye.

Today we had a visit from our lovely friends, Lachlan and family. Lachlan is Timmy’s friend from kinder, and they are both starting school together in a couple of weeks, same class. We packed a picnic lunch and headed to the playground next door to enjoy the return of summer weather…and so that the crumbs could be left for the birds rather than all over my floor. :-)

January project – 19/01 {Melbourne children’s portraits}

Day 19 of a personal photography challenge to take at least one photo every day throughout January of my kids and whatever else catches my eye.

In defiance of the very un-summery cool weather, we headed to the pool today with some friends. Actually it was an indoor pool, so it really doesn’t matter what the weather was – but it felt like a summery thing to do anyway.

January project – 18/01 {children’s photography melbourne}

Day 18 of a personal photography challenge to take at least one photo every day throughout January of my kids and whatever else catches my eye.

Feeling rather proud of myself for being organised enough to get new school shoes well in time this year. Today the boys and I had a very enjoyable little shopping trip to get new shoes for them both. Plus we visited an art and craft store for some school holiday supplies (both boys were goggle-eyed at all the stuff you can get!), and finished our outing with a very civilised lunch at a cafe.
