Baby Liam at 8 months

Such a pleasure it was to photograph one of my favourite families (this is the fourth time I’ve had the honour). I looked at these two boys, and thought – how absolutely perfect. Having two boys at this age bracket isn’t very easy as they are full of energy, but these two were just adorable together. Master Luke (the bigger boy) tried so hard, and was so beautifully well-behaved, I was seriously impressed. He understood that we wanted a photo of him with his baby brother, and a family photo, and although he was no doubt bursting at the seams with above-mentioned energy and 3-year-old-ness – he was so much a part of this shoot and we got plenty of lovely images. But this session was mainly to celebrate little Liam and his 8-month chubbiness. He wears it so very well…what a beautiful baby he his.

I came over all sentimental while looking through the images I captured of these two gorgeous little fellows – they remind me so strongly of my own two boys. Similar in age gaps, in their looks and mannerisms, and how they interact with each other. Enjoy this little preview guys and I’ll be in touch very soon with the rest!

Amelie eats cake, and other stories

Oooh, such fun was had by all at this fabulous session. Especially by dear little Amelie, who ate cake for the very first time, and had a lovely time playing with balloons, sitting in a suitcase, reading books, climbing all over the photographer (heehee) and lots of other adventures.

The start of a new tradition

We went to the Royal Melbourne Show during the week. First time for us. It goes without saying we will now be required to take the kids every year. Which I’m more than happy to do, because we had an absolute blast!!

Welcome to the world, darling Liam! Such delicious squishiness, and I loved spending time with this family again to take some portraits of their newest addition. Two years ago I photographed Liam’s brother Luke when he was just new (see Luke’s photos here). Two beautiful boys who I’m sure will grow up best of friends.

Well….just have a look at those baby blues! This is one beautiful little babe and I couldn’t help but fall a little bit in love with him. What a lovely session, with wonderfully relaxed first-time parents and adorable baby Will who was so calm and alert.
